✨ Today’s Blog Post: Finding Beauty in Small Beginnings

Today I sat down at my workspace, surrounded by resin bottles, pigments, tiny snowflakes, and all the little pieces that make my art what it is. And as I started creating, something hit me: these tiny pieces remind me so much of my own journey.
For over 20 years, my life felt messy and impossible to put back together. I never imagined I’d find peace, purpose, or even the confidence to call myself an artist. But with the help of Rising Above, faith, and the strength I didn’t know I had, I started rebuilding — one small “piece” at a time.
Resin became part of that healing. When I pour, layer, design, and wait for each piece to cure, it reminds me that transformation takes time… and patience… and belief. And just like resin, it’s the layers of our stories — both the light and the dark — that make us who we are.
Today I finished a few pieces that made me smile, not just because they’re pretty, but because they show how far I’ve come. From surviving to creating. From hiding to sharing. From feeling broken to making beauty.
If you’re reading this and you’re going through something hard, I hope my art reminds you that nothing is too shattered to rebuild.Your story is still being written.Your cracks can become your character. And your life can become something beautiful — layer by layer.
Thanks for being here, supporting my little shop, and sharing this journey with me. It means more than you know.
